General inquiries

For feedback, questions, and partnership inquiries, email support@imageprepkit.com. Please do not attach personal image files to email messages. We cannot process images sent via email, and attachments may be rejected for privacy and security reasons. Use the browser tools on this site for all image processing needs.

Technical bugs

If you encounter a technical issue or bug, please open an issue on our GitHub repository instead of emailing. GitHub issues help us track reproducible problems, share fixes with other users, and maintain a public record of resolved issues. Include the browser version, the tool you were using, and the steps that led to the problem for faster resolution.

Support

How to get the best help

A few steps before writing in can save time for both of us.

Use the browser tools first

Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser. We cannot process images sent via email, chat, or any other channel. If you need to convert, compress, resize, crop, or rotate an image, the correct workflow is to open the tool page, load the file, adjust the settings, and download the result. Email is only for feedback, bug reports, and partnership questions. Sending image attachments to our support address will not result in processed files, and large attachments may be blocked by our mail provider.

Check the guides

Most format and compression questions are already answered in the guides section. If you are unsure which format to choose, how to balance quality against file size, or why an exported image looks different from the original, the relevant guide likely covers it. Reading the guide first often resolves the question faster than waiting for an email reply, and it gives you the background to make better decisions next time.

Describe your environment

When reporting a bug, include the browser name and version, your operating system, the exact tool name, and the steps that led to the problem. For example, "Chrome 126 on Windows 11, WebP to PNG converter, the download button does nothing after loading a 4 MB image" is far more useful than "it does not work." Specific details let us reproduce the issue quickly and ship a fix or workaround without a long back-and-forth.

Questions

Frequently asked support questions

Common questions about how support works and what we can and cannot do.

Why can't you process my image via email?

We do not accept image files via email for three reasons. First, privacy: we have no way to verify that an attachment sent to a public address will remain confidential. Second, architecture: our processing engine is a browser application, not a server queue. There is no backend to receive, decode, and process external files. Third, security: email attachments can carry malware, and we do not operate an sandboxed processing environment for untrusted inputs. The browser tools are designed so that you keep full control over your files at all times.

Do you offer custom image processing services?

No. Image Prep Kit is a self-service site. We provide browser-based tools for common tasks, and we do not offer manual editing, batch processing as a service, or bespoke image manipulation. If you need professional retouching, color correction, or complex compositing, you will need a design studio or a freelance editor. Our tools are built for quick, repeatable tasks that you can complete yourself in under a minute.

Can I request a new tool or feature?

Yes. The best way is to open an issue on our GitHub repository, where the request can be discussed publicly and other users can vote or add context. If you do not use GitHub, you can email support@imageprepkit.com with a clear description of the tool, the workflow it would solve, and an example input and output. We evaluate suggestions based on how broadly they apply, whether they fit a browser-only architecture, and whether they align with our goal of keeping each tool focused on a single task. We do not promise to build every request, but we read every one.

Partnership and licensing

Information about commercial use, API access, and working together.

API access and commercial use

Image Prep Kit does not currently offer a public API or a programmatic interface. The tools are built for interactive browser use, not server-to-server integration. That said, we are open to partnerships that align with our open-source philosophy. If you are interested in licensing the tool code, integrating a white-label version, or sponsoring the development of a specific feature, send a brief proposal to support@imageprepkit.com. Include your use case, expected volume, and timeline. We are not interested in reselling user data or embedding third-party tracking, but we are happy to discuss genuine technical collaborations that keep the same privacy model.
